About Us

The Diocese of Corpus Christi joyfully invites the faithful to celebrate the Solemnity of the Most Holy Body and Blood of Christ with a historic and sacred occasion: the formal reception of the Bishop into his cathedral and the consecration of the new altar. This special liturgy will take place on Thursday, June 4, 2026, with doors opening at 5:00 PM and Mass beginning at 6:00 PM.


A Eucharistic procession will follow the Mass, offering all in attendance the opportunity to publicly witness and celebrate our faith.


Friendly Reminder: Attendees should bring flashlights and flameless (LED) candles, as the procession will continue into the evening hours. Water stations will be available along the route, but attendees are also welcome to bring their own water bottles.

Our MyParish App will allow us to send you useful & important messages throughout the week regarding our parish life and events, and allow you to reply to messages or RSVP for events. There will be no need for parishioners with smart phones to remember to silence their phones before Mass. The App will send you a reminder to silence your phone 20 minutes before the Mass you select.
